  We have a branch in Bellairs Drive, Mulbarton for ages ranging from 15 months to 4 ½.

  4½ Years To 6 Years

  We have a branch in Pietsekop Street, Glenvista for ages ranging from 4½ to 6 years before entrance into a primary school.

History Of The School

Our school opened at 86 Bellairs in 1981 with just 5 children; by the end of the year we had 12 children attending our school. We then expanded and built another classroom because of many parents wanting their children to attend our school.

The Principal, Irene, went on a Nursery School Conference in Cape Town in 1984 and was totally bowled over by the Montessori Method of Education. We then signed up to do a Montessori Degree and implemented this method of Education in our school.

We still had many parents who had their children on a waiting list and we were unable to accommodate them. We then searched for more premises and purchased 25 Pietsekop Street, Glenvista and opened two classes for 4 ½ to 6 year olds in 1991. These classes have Montessori equipment which will serve the needs of children up to 9 years old. This allows each child to advance above normal Nursery school levels and every child develops a wonderful love for all learning which helps them to always strive to reach their fullest potential.
